How to Attack a 1-1-3 Zone???

Okay coaches, I need some advice.  I'm searching for an effective offense/plays to counter the 1-1-3 half court zone defense.  I have a relatively young team this season and we're going to face an aggressive 1-1-3 in our 4th game.  Offensively, we typically run out of a 1-4 high set but have heard that a 2-1-2 may be the way to go against this particular zone.  Any advice would be of help.

I know this sounds an over

I know this sounds an over simplification but I think way too many coaches pay too little attention these days to stopping dribble penetration.

Well 2-1-2 is a tricky

Well 2-1-2 is a tricky situation. You need very experienced players to be fit for the situation. That is where you need to be careful else it will ruin the game plan. ( dancing with the stars 2010 | Watch Dancing with the Stars Online | American Idol 2010 )

How to Attack a 1-1-3 Zone???

I have seen the 2-1-2 work well against this defense. However, a 2-3 zone keeping the 5 going block to block and sliding the weakside 1 or 2 to the foul line puts an extreme amount of pressure on the both guards and ball side forward. On any reverse or skip you will find a ton of holes in the defense.
